IT's THE MOST BEAUTIFUL TIME OF THE YEAR..

Here I am cuddled up inside my warm fuzzy blanket with reading materials stressing my brain out for tomorrow's paper, with few sneaker-bar team to my rescue . Semester exams has got me so hooked that I didn't even realise of how cold the weather has gotten , I was looking out the window the other night and it was fog all around. (And here I was thinking of wearing a skirt to uni tomorrow lol)

Anyways time to rejoice because WINTERS! Why I love winters so much? Let me break it down for you all haha . 'Hot coffee- cozy bed' duh! 'Counting days till Christmas , Losar ' ' My love for layering up is eternal and what better time to layer as much as you can than winters ' 'beautiful white landscape post snowfall (referring to my hometown- Ladakh here) 'It'll be chilling cold outside, you hear people complaining but my body has this natural heating system haha that cold never really bothers me anyway. Lastly just the feeling of being Cold , I relate to it so much because ....haven't you heard of the quote - "be like snow, Cold but beautiful' ?! HAHA

Ps: I have my last paper tomorrow , so excited even though I've nothing interesting planned up. Just me being at my home watching TV , arguing with my sister on who's going to clean up and do the dishes lol , going grocery shopping, taking pictures for my blog and other random stuff .

Better human

How easy it's for us to judge others ? People can't carry a banner with them all the time with the quote saying 'don't judge a book by its cover'. Judging on the basis of 'how people dress', 'their livelihood', 'one bad incident' , 'misconceptions' and in any other way. It's wrong! I'm not saying I never did, I'm guilty myself. I judge people and I've been judged but then can we just try to be bit better than that. I'm trying or in the process of rising above that. Don't spread rumours, don't ill-think until you know the whole story and even if you know the story we have no right to talk about it all. I know we need something interesting all the time but can we talk about other random stuff like 'maintaining feed on Instagram' or 'styling outfits?' lol rather than bad mouth about someone we don't even know properly.

So people let's try to be a better human one day at a time. Let's be the first one to take the initiative and change ourselves . (Just to let you all know again I'm not that perfect-nicest person and I'm not trying to lecture here lol but I've come across a lot of misconceptions about me , it hits me like a cannonball haha makes me think of my stupidity and mean-self and helps me to be better)

Ps: let us not spread unnecessary rumours but then if someone is REALLY being a jerk to you than BE A SAVAGE.

BRAIN VS HEART

Brain vs heart?

Dilemmas that stresses the soul out of you. Life is so confusing to us sometimes, it leaves us with no choice but to take decisions we don't want to. For quite sometime you live in the fantasy and then one day it strikes you, 'Be realistic' your brain echoes continuously. You want to shout 'let me live' to the top of your lungs but it that doesn't work as well.

You gather up all your courage and speak the truth even if it means disappointing others. Honestly I wish if 'f**k it all' quotes worked in real life, but it doesn't . We are all so tied up in certain rules , we can't come out of. The point is to come out clean , and being honest about your thoughts. Let them know how exactly you feel and how it works , because you can't pretend to work things out anyway or fake feelings in other words. You know you're not going to experience something so great again , and it hurts but you learn to live with the respect, gratefulness and gratitude you have towards them. You move on. They do too. What you have or will be having is positive blurred memories of them to cherish forever and that's what important I guess.

Let's all be honest today guys. Let's not get tangled up in certain situations we are not comfortable in. Let's try to come out of it. Let's talk about it. It'll not be easy. Then again ,the truth will set you free. Let's LIVE for real.

Surviving

Humid 40 degree weather and I'm still surviving. I'm still alive guys haha!

It's been a very exhausting and hectic month. I've been running like Literally running around different universities for my entrances. Let's not forget traveling around different cities.

It's all going to stop for a while and I will be free for good few 2-3 weeks starting today. So what do I do when I'm free? Dress up, go out and take blog pictures and stay connected to you guys. One of the few things that makes me the happiest.

TIME

It's crazy how TIME has so much power over our lives. Everyday every minute, every second of it.

I was the most depressed, wretched person around this time last year. (Let's spare the details lol) .

It's a complete different scenario now. I'm settled and in a good place, always smiling and am at peace (mentally). I've met genuine nice people to hang out with, tbh I love meeting new people and when they turn out to be the most amazing understanding lovable, you feel blessed. Its almost as if there's no place for negativity here at all. Have de-cluttered anything/anyone depressing out of my life because life is too short for little petty dramas and also YOLO?! Haha .Things have fallen into place finally and I Couldn't have ask for more.

Hard work pays, and God helps. We just gotta have faith in ourselves and cling on to that little ray of hope because there's always tomorrow.

If I was a clothing item i would've been this beautiful black shirt-dress. I think all these oversized shirt and casual looks defines who I am. So this particular shirt dress was a free gift that h&m was providing few days back, we'd to buy two items from sale section for which one clothing was free. What's new then? I rushed over to the shirt section and found this comfortable, flowy shirt I've been dreaming to get.

THE REAL YOU

I've often found myself in a place where I'm constantly looking for inspirations and try to adopt the good things from that particular person . I hear people say 'I saw that on Instagram or Pinterest or tumblr', and that exact moment I'm online doing the same, getting inspired . That's human nature though we always see someone better than us we want to be him/her, constantly thriving for perfection.

I won't deny about me always trying to be better, and have always tried to achieve perfection (knowing there's no such thing as 'perfect'). Yes I get inspired by certain people by their lifestyle, thoughts, how they present themselves etc. We all do.

However in this process I've never tried to be someone else, or let's say copied anyone. At the end of the day it's always about 'being myself'. We all are so different, our hidden talents continue to be hidden while we are busy being someone else. I believe when you hide your true self, you're inhibiting yourself from growing to be a better person than yesterday and to stop that you have to be 'YOU'. YOUR thoughts, YOUR imaginations, YOUR creativity matters. YOU Matter. The real YOU.

Digital life

Since I've started blogging 'more professionally than earlier', I've been very much involved in this 'digital world'. Keeping a check on my phone every other minute has become constant now, texts , Instagram , prolly expecting a mail, or just hunt for new inspirations. I'm just always on phone, and it started taking its toll on me. So much so that it stared impacting negatively on my Health (not very serious though) . You also kinda detach from people around and it's really sad.

It was just extreme and yesterday I made a planner. 'Stop (net)surfing and start living' lol . More outdoor activities like biking, reading , having more conversations with people around are some of them. Hope you all start living too.

God give me strength! Haha
